Game Notes 4/15: Prior Lake @ Stillwater

Shout out to the 36 queen for giving us her notes!

Prior Lake outdueled Stillwater 10-8 in a game that seesawed back and forth.

Weather was gross to start game (cool, windy, raining), stopped raining early.

Clearly 2 of the top teams in the state.  First half went back and forth with each team leading, but tied 4-4 at half time.

Second half started out the same, but eventually Prior Lake capitalized on a few Stillwater turnovers.   Prior Lake was up 10-7 with about 5 min left.

Both goalies played solid.  These weren’t run of the mill shots, they’re not going to stop all of them.

Draws had to be roughly even – PL held advantage in first half and Stillwater in second half.

Refs were calling things mega tight.  Lots of whistles.  Too many whistles.
